Banana protein snack (28g of protein)

Ingredients:
Banana – 2 pieces (about 110 g each)
-
Greek yogurt – 240 g
-
Cocoa powder – 5 g
Instructions:
-
First, prepare all the ingredients (pic 1).
-
Slice the bananas into rounds (pic 2).
-
Add 240 g of yogurt and 5 g of cocoa powder into a bowl and gently mix (pic 3). Be careful—cocoa powder is very dusty, so mix slowly, especially at the beginning.
-
Take each banana slice and coat it in the yogurt mixture pic 4).
-
Repeat this step with all the banana pieces (pic 5).
-
Once all the banana slices are evenly coated, place the tray in the freezer for about 2 hours so the yogurt can firm up nicely.
-
Remove from the freezer and serve (pic 6 and 7).
Enjoy! 🍌

Comment:
A simple recipe for a healthy snack.
I have one tip: if you're making this just for yourself, one banana is enough (and therefore only half the amount of yogurt – 120 g). A two-banana portion is quite a lot for one person.
Another tip is about storage. The yogurt softens and starts melting quite quickly at room temperature after you take it out of the freezer. So whatever you don't eat right away, put it back in the fridge, and after some time in the fridge, place it in the freezer again for a few minutes to firm up the mixture.
One more thing: overall, these banana bites aren't as sweet as I expected… so I would add a bit of sweetener.
I hope you like my recipe. I will be happy if you check out other recipes. Every Saturday a new, original protein recipe is released.
