Chicken nachos (105g of protein)

Ingredients:

  • Ground chicken – 500 g

  • Seasoning – salt, pepper

  • Cheese nacho sauce – 20 g


Instructions:

  1. Season the ground chicken and form it into a flat patty (pic 1).
  2. Place a sheet of plastic wrap over the patty and roll it out to about half a centimeter thick (pic 2).
  3. Put the meat patty into a preheated oven at 200°C and bake for 70 to 90 minutes (pic 3).
  4. Cut the baked patty into small pieces (pic 4).
  5. Add the cheese nacho sauce and serve (pic 5).

  • Carbohydrates: 0,27 g

Comment:

This recipe is great both during a diet and in a bulking phase, and for several reasons:

  • It's packed with protein

  • It only requires one main ingredient (ground chicken)

  • If you choose a lighter sauce, you can easily reduce the overall calories of the snack

I recommend leaving it in the oven longer than you'd expect, so the base gets crunchy and the texture resembles real nachos.

Since the whole batch is made from 500 g of chicken, I suggest dividing it into at least 3 portions. You can spread it out across several meals and even a few days. Chicken nachos can be stored in the fridge and eaten cold, or reheated in the microwave.

Would I make this recipe again? Definitely yes — but I'd make the chicken sheet thinner and leave it in the oven a bit longer (around 90 minutes), so the nachos turn out really crispy and tasty.

When should you eat this snack? Honestly, anytime! I've had it for breakfast, as an afternoon snack, and even as a movie-night treat. It just works for every occasion. It keeps you full and provides a big protein boost — which is always good news.
